There is a 10 month, 8 hours per day, Principals Secretary position available. The essential functions of this position include typing, developing and maintaining accurate records, and effectively communicating with students, staff, and the public. This position requires the individual to sit for long periods of time at a computer. The successful applicant will possess typing, computer, and general clerical skills. Previous office experience is required. Strong inter-personal skills; multi-tasking abilities; proficiency with Office applications including Google Docs / Sheets, Outlook Calendar and E-mail, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; strong organizational and prioritization skills are a must. Excellent time management skills are imperative. Customer service skills are mandatory. Candidate must be willing to assist other secretaries and teachers with a variety of tasks. The applicant should have corrected hearing and vision within normal ranges.
If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following :
- Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
- FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
- TB Test / Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
- Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
