Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, a related field, or equivalent field experience.
Experience: 3 years in architecture or construction project management, or related field.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and gather input to inform decision-making.
- Needs Assessment: Collaborate with school district officials, administrators, and security personnel to understand their specific needs and concerns regarding facility security.
- Site Evaluation: Conduct site evaluations to assess potential locations for new facilities, considering factors such as accessibility, regulations, and infrastructure requirements.
- Facility Assessment: Conduct thorough facility assessments for school districts to evaluate the condition and functionality of existing structures, systems, and layouts.
- Safety and Security Audits: Perform comprehensive door security audits to assess the effectiveness of door security measures and protocols in place within school facilities.
- Risk Assessment: Identify vulnerabilities, gaps, and areas of improvement in terms of physical security, access control, and emergency preparedness.
- Safety and Security Recommendations: Develop actionable recommendations to enhance door security measures, such as implementing access control systems, enhancing locks and hardware, and improving visitor management protocols.
- Safety and Security Solutions: Provide expertise and guidance on implementing security solutions that align with industry best practices and meet applicable regulations and standards.
- Facility Solutions: Communicate assessment findings, recommendations, and action plans to school district decision-makers in a clear and concise manner.
- Project Planning: Facilitate the successful transition from the pre-construction phase to the construction phase.

- Attendance at work during normal business hours.
- Educational Facility Regulations: Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and standards governing educational facilities, including building codes, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements, and safety guidelines.
- Blueprint Reading: Mastery in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Facility Assessment Techniques: Proficiency in various assessment techniques, including visual inspections, data collection, and condition rating systems.
- Safety and Security Protocols: Awareness of safety and security measures, including fire safety, emergency response procedures, and security systems.
- Accessibility Standards: Proficiency in accessibility standards to ensure that school facilities are inclusive and comply with ADA guidelines.
- Environmental Sustainability: Understanding of sustainable building practices, energy efficiency, and green construction materials to promote environmentally responsible facility improvements.
- Building Systems: Familiarity with various building systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
