Responsibilities
- Safety Manager is responsible for overall SSSP execution, including, but not limited to management of Subcontractor Safety Coordinators. Sub-tier management, case & care Management.
- Oversee activities related to electrical, instrumentation, and controls.
- Ensure safety remains a top priority on every job site at all times.
- Work closely with project teams to develop and sustain an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC)
- Report directly to the Health and Safety Director
- Craft training, safety administration, work coordination, and high-risk activity planning and development
- BS Occupational Safety & Health required.
- 12-15 years relevant construction experience, or Certified Safety Professional (as recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals)
- Two 2 years of relevant construction experience.
- Minimum OSHA 510
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) highly preferred.
- Minimum construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Board of certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Certification.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
- NFPA 70E and LOTO
- First Aid, Narcan, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training.
- CPR and AED Training.
- Emergency Procedures Training
- Mental Health First Aid Training
