We are hiring: Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities
Bring your passion, here is what’s needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 5 years of experience with a focus in large -scale Photovoltaic plants.
- Professional Engineer license is preferred
- Experience with CYMCAP and PVsyst software
- Knowledge of electrical design using AutoCAD, photovoltaic, including power distribution, medium and low voltage systems
- Perform Engineering Calculations using Excel, SKM, and ETAP
- Analyze the constructability, functionality, and best value design review of Engineering Plans
- Conduct Engineering Studies using SKM: Overcurrent Coordination, Arc Flash, Short-Circuit, and Voltage Drop
- Perform Cable Pull Tension Calculations using ETAP
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials with support from a drafting designer.
- Review of contractual technical specifications and performance guarantees
- Preparation of Technical Specifications for Equipment and Installation. (Scope of work for subcontractors and suppliers)
- Meetings with Owner’s Engineering and Suppliers.
- On-site visits to ensure compliance with the latest versions of Electrical Engineering documentation.
