Cummings St. Thomas is working with a company seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their growing finance team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise and a passion for supporting impactful research and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports to support senior and executive leadership in strategic decision-making
- Develop financial projections, models, and forecasts for internal use
- Support the annual audit by preparing financial statements, disclosures, and necessary supporting documentation
- Collaborate with various departments to improve and refine financial reporting processes
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and assist in ensuring compliance
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with ad-hoc financial projects
- Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate or public accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial practices
- Experience with leases (Topic 842) accounting is preferred
