Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customers site.
We are looking for a talented Marine Field Service Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Morgan City, LA).

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
Perform maintenance / repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development / certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
Schedule is 14 days on-call / 7 days off rotation
18 weeks off per year to enjoy
48 hours weekly guarantee
Ability to volunteer to work on off weeks
Hours per day are as the job demands, mostly night calls
Can require in and out of country travel, ability to obtain a passport may be required

- Maintain own hand tools; specialty tools are provided
- Commercial marine work-large vessels, rigs, tugs, OSV; Cummins / GE / Wabtec engines

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following :
RESPONSIBILITIES
Intermediate) :
Completes complex internal engine repairs
Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision
QUALIFICATIONS
Technician Level II : Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in-scope for technician at this location;
primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair; some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requires limited direct supervision, may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians.
A current valid license is required for this role
Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
Education, Licenses, Certifications :
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience :
Basic level field service work experience
Intermediate level knowledge of and / or experience with engine products
Customer service experience

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
