Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification
Locally Valid Driving Permit (Preferred)
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
High Voltage /Low Voltage practical experience
Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
Salary rate commensurate with experience. - Completing repair activities on generators or components
- Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of service
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Trained Power Generation / Electrical Technician (Preferred)

- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age

Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following :
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
- Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
- Experience with writing schematics.
- Able to accurately articulate the process for inspection prior to start-up of the unit.
- Able to perform multiple (20 plus) LB's with trailer mounted LB's.
- Able to T/S controls with InPower. Understands T4 & other emission solutions.
- Able to perform repairs on ATS systems.
