In this role, you will have a significant impact by:
- Operating machines and production equipment independently, ensuring quality and productivity requirements are met safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Promoting health, safety, and environmental standards by stopping work to report major hazards, using personal protective equipment, and engaging in HSE training.
- FOLLOWING standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and poka-yoke.
- Achieving production goals by operating equipment proficiently, maintaining cycle times, and performing planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- INSTRUCTING and coaching others, acting as an informal resource for team members with less capability, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- WORKING with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to identify and repair equipment issues, contributing to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- PARTICIPATING actively in initiatives to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development, ensuring ongoing personal and professional growth.
