CURAis looking to hire a service-driven Freight Account Executive who will manage their loads for the full load lifecycle. You will be responsible for generating new business and will act as a liaison between our customers and freight carriers. In this role, you will collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled pickups and deliveries.
If you are new to sales/logistics but have a strong drive (a real go-getter) to succeed, then this is the right opportunity for you. This is an in-office role based in Tampa, FL. We are only considering candidates from the Tampa Bay area or those willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:
- Secure new accounts and ensure customer retention
- Identify reputable carriers for freight services using company tools
- Negotiate rates with carriers and provide customers with shipping quotes
- Dispatch and track active loads (TL / Truckload / LTL) domestically
- Communicate with dispatchers and drivers daily to track the status of loads and provide timely updates to customers
- Identify potential issues and implement solutions
- Enter load data in internal TMS system in real time as load progresses
- Attract new prospects and develop a sales pipeline using the company CRM application
- Work cross-functionally to assist with customer billing and accounting responsibilities, as needed
- Make 70 prospecting calls/day
- Previous phone-sales experience preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to think outside the box, look for solutions, and creatively solve problems
- Proactive self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Service-minded and accountable with a customer-centric approach
- Attention to detail & ability to multi-task
