Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Solution Architect and Developer Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of PeopleSoft solutions for a variety of client needs, with a focus on improving business processes, enhancing system functionality, and ensuring the overall system architecture is secure, scalable, and efficient. This role requires strong technical expertise in PeopleSoft, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success. A valid security clearance is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Solution Design & Architecture : Lead the design and architecture of PeopleSoft systems, including PeopleSoft applications and related integrations, to meet client requirements and objectives. Ensure that systems are robust, scalable, and comply with security standards.
- Development & Customization : Develop and customize PeopleSoft applications, including creating and maintaining customizations, configurations, and reports. Leverage PeopleTools, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and other PeopleSoft development tools to deliver high-quality solutions.
- System Integration : Oversee and implement integration of PeopleSoft with other enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, Financials, and ERP systems) and third-party applications.
- Technical Leadership : Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers and other technical team members. Share knowledge and best practices to help foster a strong technical team.
- Security & Compliance : Ensure that all systems are developed and deployed with a focus on security best practices. Work closely with IT security teams to ensure that the PeopleSoft systems meet all compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Client Interaction : Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective PeopleSoft solutions. Lead client workshops, prototype sessions, and technical discussions to gather requirements and manage expectations.
- Testing & Troubleshooting : Lead the testing efforts to ensure solutions are functioning as expected. Troubleshoot technical issues, including system errors, performance issues, and system bugs, and provide timely resolutions.
- Documentation & Reporting : Prepare technical documentation for solutions, configurations, and development processes. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders on progress, milestones, and potential risks.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay current with industry trends, PeopleSoft releases, and emerging technologies. Recommend system and process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of PeopleSoft applications.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft architecture, design, and development.
Expertise in PeopleSoft architecture, customizations, and integrations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
