Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics coordination, team leadership, and quality control. This role ensures the efficient and accurate movement of rental equipment, upholding Curated Events’ high standards for luxury event rentals. The Warehouse Manager works closely with operations, dispatch, and sales teams to optimize workflows, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure seamless event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management: Direct and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, organizing, staging, and dispatching event rental inventory.
- Inventory Control & Accuracy: Ensure accurate tracking, storage, and maintenance of rental items, minimizing loss and damage.
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to maintain a high-performance work environment.
- Logistics Coordination: Work with dispatch and operations teams to optimize loading schedules, transportation logistics, and event setup timelines.
- Quality Assurance: Implement inspection procedures to ensure all rental items meet Curated Events’ luxury standards before and after use.
- Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, vehicles, and storage areas to maximize operational efficiency.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety policies, conduct routine inspections, and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies to improve warehouse productivity and workflow optimization.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, inventory adjustments, and staff performance metrics.
Key Performance Standards:
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely order processing, inventory organization, and loadout scheduling to meet event timelines.
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy, minimizing losses and discrepancies.
- Team Productivity: Develop a well-trained, efficient warehouse team that meets or exceeds performance expectations.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment with zero workplace injuries or OSHA violations.
- Customer Satisfaction: Support seamless event execution by ensuring rental equipment is prepared and dispatched accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control, preferably in the event rental or hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership experience in managing warehouse teams and operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse-based role with frequent exposure to physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and operating equipment.
- Requires working in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and outdoor settings.
- May require early morning, evening, or weekend shifts based on business needs.
