Position Summary
Curated Events is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sales Data and Platform Support Specialist with required experience in Point of Rental (POR). This role will play a crucial part in the maintenance, support, and optimization of POR and Salesforce, ensuring seamless system functionality, data accuracy, and user adoption to support our sales team and overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with POR, strong analytical skills, and a passion for enhancing sales platform efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Platform Support: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Point of Rental (POR) and Salesforce to ensure smooth operation and user accessibility.
- User Assistance & Training: Provide ongoing support to sales teams by addressing platform-related issues, answering inquiries, and delivering training on best practices for POR and Salesforce usage.
- Data Management & Integrity: Maintain data accuracy within POR and Salesforce by performing regular audits, updates, and implementing data governance best practices.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop reports and dashboards within POR and Salesforce to provide actionable insights for sales and leadership teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies within sales workflows and collaborate with the Director to implement solutions that enhance POR and Salesforce usability and productivity.
- Documentation & Knowledge Base: Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and troubleshooting documentation specifically for POR users.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, and Operations, to align POR and Salesforce capabilities with business needs and objectives.
- Implementation Assistance: Support the rollout of new POR and Salesforce features, integrations, and system enhancements under the direction of the Director of Sales Data and Platform.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience with Point of Rental (POR) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce and CRM functionality, with the ability to assist in system administration.
- Hands-on experience managing ERP systems, particularly POR.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage data within POR and Salesforce.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to provide clear user guidance and documentation.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving POR-related challenges.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of direct experience with Point of Rental (POR) required.
- Experience in Salesforce administration, sales support, or data management is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Travel:
- Minimal travel may be required for team meetings or training sessions.
