We're looking for someone who performs as well as directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in grounds maintenance at commercial, private or public property, performing any combination of the following tasks: Cutting lawns, trimming, clipping, edging, power vacuuming, planting/maintenance and construction of flower beds, pruning shrubs, trees, hedges, cleaning grounds, weed control and fertilization.
Performs snow removal services during winter months with opportunities to work in the assembly area.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in landscape maintenance preferred.
- Must possess organizational/leadership skills, demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of people, including State employees, co-workers and the general public.
- Must possess a valid WI driver's license and be able to operate a company vehicle (van) with trailer.
