We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient yard environment, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly handled and stored. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes to load and unload materials.
- Maintain an organized yard by building and stacking materials in designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow throughout the yard.
Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is beneficial.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is highly desirable.
