Oversees the electronic health system, products, and applications ensuring that their designs, content, and definitions integrate to support team members to achieving the defined clinical workflow, processes, and performance goals (safety, quality, compliance, productivity, and financial) as well as the outcome expectations and objectives of our organization. This is an exempt, salaried position.

Position Description
Oversees the electronic health system, products, and applications ensuring that their designs, content, and definitions integrate to support team members to achieving the defined clinical workflow, processes, and performance goals (safety, quality, compliance, productivity, and financial) as well as the outcome expectations and objectives of our organization. This is an exempt, salaried position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages user accounts across multiple platforms, including but are not limited to electronic health records (EHR), practice management (PM), IntelliDose, Phreesia, ProviderFlow, Paxera, PowerShare and FollowMyHealth. This includes setting up new accounts, deactivating accounts, and configuring user permissions.
- Delivers first-tier support for the EHR and Practice Management systems, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with vendors for complex problem resolution.
- Participates in system upgrade processes, including pre-upgrade testing, user communications, and post-upgrade support to ensure smooth transitions.
- Customizes system settings and assists in developing new workflows during software implementation projects.
- Manages provider template updates and builds in the Practice Management system and be a resource/backup for blocking provider schedules.
- Offers support to the Applications Team for various smaller applications amongst other internal tools.
- Provides analytical support and assistance on projects related to EHR and PM Systems.
- Engages in continuous learning through vendor trainings, webinars, and conferences to keep abreast of system functionalities and updates.
- Generates and maintains organizational measurement reports and produces custom clinical reports.
- Oversees daily system usage and performs routine administrative functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field.
- Five years of clinical applications experience.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- General knowledge of clinic processes.
- Ability to successfully attest to meaningful use.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasionally required to move up to 15 pounds at times.
