Position Description
The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department. This is an exempt, salaried position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages the entire hiring process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring and onboarding new team members.
- Addresses employee concerns, resolves conflicts, and maintains positive working relationships within the organization.
- Designs and implements training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Manages employee benefit plans including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Oversee performance evaluations and goal setting process.
- Ensures job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Ensures adherence to all employment laws and regulations regarding labor practices and accreditation standards.
- Develops, updates, and administers compensation strategies, including salary structures and performance-based incentives.
- Ensures consistent application of all organization Human Resources policies.
- Partners with Executive Team to ensure strategic goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Maintains Human Resources systems and processes.
- Manages and supports department staff.
- Develops employee retention strategies.
- Manages the organization’s payroll process and ensures accurate and timely completion.
- Directly supervises all employees within the human resources department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or equivalent healthcare or revenue cycle experience.
- A minimum of four (4) years of managerial experience.
- Physician office experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of human resource management experience.
- SHRM-CP OR SHRM-SCP.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequently required to handle several face-to-face and telephone contacts daily.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, move items up to 15 pounds.
