Legal Research Attorney

We are seeking a Legal Research Attorney to join CURE. This position will work closely with the C-Suite Executives and provide legal assistance. The role requires superb writing and research skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Advise organization and C-Suite Executives on legal matters while ensuring compliance and applicable laws and regulations
• Research and draft legal documents on corporate matters such as case preparation and strategy development
• Prepare reports and presentations on matters as needed
• Efficiently execute assignments and consistently complete assignments and meet deadlines
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working in private practice
• Prior experience as a law clerk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in legal research tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively
  
  
  

Physical Actions/Environment : Required job duties consist of prompt and regular attendance, ability to frequently move about the office to coordinate work with others; standing, sitting and typing for extended periods; and lifting and/or carrying up to 5 lbs. Ability to frequently communicate with others in-person, on the phone/virtually, and in writing. Ability to read, understand, process and evaluate large amounts of technical information and make related, informed decisions.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Location: Detroit, MI or Princeton, NJ
