Job Summary
The Program Manager, Partnership Solutions is responsible for developing and managing the client’s onsite and offsite consumer testing program. They will be the primary point person for communication with the client lead and cross-functional partners to ensure first class planning and execution of consumer-based research studies.
The Program Manager will promote consumer research to client product development teams through education of benefits of consumer testing, while developing the consumer research program, maintain lasting, trust-based relationships with clients and ensuring client satisfaction through meeting their research objectives and needs. The Program Manager will be proactive and consultative, working with Curion and client teams to achieve program goals.
Role Objectives
- Work with Curion and client teams on contract and program development
- Develop and execute programs to meet product development needs by working with the client lead and cross-functional partners
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of results by coordinating internal Curion Partnership Solutions and external Curion resources
- Advise on research best practices by staying current with company offerings and industry trends
- Mentor and develop team members by encouraging curiosity and growth and facilitating educational opportunities
Primary Job Duties
- Ongoing program management, including adherence to budgets and contractual requirements, project planning/scheduling, recruitment, execution, issue resolution, and incentive payments
- Provide expert guidance in consumer science and sensory testing to client scientists for method development of client onsite and in use testing and for testing at Curion locations, including development of screeners and questionnaires
- Coordinate new study requests for all testing needs, providing project management of all aspects of testing execution (budgeting, recruitment of qualified consumers, field execution and participation tracking).
- Provide thought leadership across all client recruitment and logistics needs
- Project management to keep teams on track regarding timelines, leading study briefings, and ensure cross team collaboration
- Liaise with client’s internal teams and processes for effective and consistent communication and management of onsite study participants
- Moderate consumer interviews
- Create and implement learning tools to transfer knowledge to direct reports and
- Assist in development of training programs and implement the training with R&D scientists across various CPG categories
- Explore and implement new and innovative methodologies to address unmet business needs
- Provide supervision, technical direction, development and mentoring to other professionals on staff
- Determine appropriate use of any of Curion’s added-value support (e.g., recruiting, statistical, analytical, design, etc.)
- Collaborate across all levels and functions, including but not limited to:
- Supervise study recruitment
- RedJade troubleshooting
- Incentive payments
- Troubleshooting participant issues and complaints
- Lead Project Update Meetings
- Attend all meetings that pertain to major decision making for all projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Consumer Research and Sensory Science project experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sensory Science, Food Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field or the equivalent knowledge from their experience
- 2 years in project team leadership function/role or management
- Experience managing sensory programs across health & personal care categories preferred
- Experience in fundamentals of business analytics and reporting on key performance metrics
- Experience overseeing budgets and expenses
- Ability to understand client needs, and negotiate costs and services
- Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience effectively collaborating across levels and functions
- Proven success multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of ownership, accountability, and professional commitment
- RedJade or other database and survey platform knowledge and experience, preferred
- MS Office intermediate level experience, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
For Curion’s Program Manager position, we offer a starting salary range of 80,000-93,000 based on the qualifications and experience of each individual. Curion offers a benefits package for this position which includes:
