Business Development Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
The Curran Wealth Management Business Development Representative will be tasked with generating new wealth management leads, building relationships with potential customers, presenting Curran Wealth Management products and services, closing new business and transferring these new relationships to Curran Wealth Management’s Private Wealth Managers and Administrators. The Business Development Representative will not be involved in the day-to-day service of client accounts, instead focusing their attention solely on generating new business for the firm. Business Development Representative Skills and Qualifications:
· Sales background
· Ability and desire to network
· Excellent Communication skills – both written and verbal communication
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to understand, learn and present Curran Wealth Management offerings (retirement planning, education planning, financial planning, tax planning and estate planning).
· Self-motivated individual
· Must be able to work as part of a team
· Must adhere to the principles of a fiduciary relationship and only recommend offerings that are in the best interest of the prospect.
Proficiencies in any of the following software programs a plus:
· Excel
· Word
· PowerPoint
· Salesforce
· Nitrogen (formerly Riskalyze)
Ideal candidates will have a degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. Flexible hours.
5 years of prior business development or sales experience in the financial services field is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
