Currency Exchange International is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, IT Project Management Office to work within the CXI team and support its growth.

Description: The Senior Manager of IT Project Management Office will oversee the IT Project Management Office function within the company, responsible for guiding projects from idea creation to completion leveraging a light framework for project management. The framework aims to balance simplicity for broad adoption with sufficient structure to ensure effective planning, prioritization, and tracking of projects to meet business needs. The IT PMO will function as a lightweight PMO rather than a more conventional formal PMO.

Essential Functions:

• Framework Development: Leverage existing project management principles to formalize a new ‘light’ project management framework that is simple yet structured.
• Team Leadership: Lead a small team of project managers and business analysts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT leaders, executives, and senior managers across departments to guide them in using the framework.
• Change Management: Communicate effectively to drive cultural changes and ensure business leaders are able to follow the new project approach.
• Project Oversight: Ensure projects are well planned, prioritized, and tracked to align with business objectives and conform to project management best practices.
• Project Management: Assist with project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to design frameworks that align with business goals.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to work with various stakeholders across the organization.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to manage change and drive adoption of new processes.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager or similar project role. Technology background is a plus. Portfolio Project Management a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience with designing and implementing project management frameworks while being flexible to accommodate the needs of the organization.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Evening hours and occasional but less frequent weekend work may be necessary.
