Throughout the Gardner family’s ownership of Superior Trim, we have made, and continue to make, significant investments to ensure that Superior Trim has all of the appropriate technologies in-house and available to produce cost-competitive, high-quality interior and exterior trim products for medium/heavy duty trucks and other commercial vehicles that our customers expect.
Superior Trim Springfield is looking for a self-motivated individual for a Group Leader role in our Pro-Bond department. This is a union position responsible for maintaining safety, product quality, production, production equipment, material control, housekeeping and production team management and support.
A successful applicant will have:
- Ability to work toward short and long term goals
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Manual and electronic record keeping
- Team building and positive feedback
- Collective Troubleshooting
- Math skills required:
- Cycle counting materials supporting production
- Calculation of weights/percentages
- Gauge reading and correlating adjustment calculation
- Be able to work in fast paced and elevated temperature environment
- Qualify for forklift license
- Must be able to work all required overtime
