Technical Support Administrator

Job Description:

As a Technical Support Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our Corporate IT Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and networks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of IT administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2012-2022 environments.
• Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including Fortinet products, to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist with IT-related inquiries.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

• 3 Years or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls.
• Proficiency in Windows 11 and Windows Server 2012-2022 administration.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office Suite.  
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or Fortinet NSE.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience in Security & Compliance Center, Intune, Entra ID, Azure SSO.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Understanding of Patch Management Software (e.g., ConnectWise, CrowdStrike, Action1).
