Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2012-2022 environments.
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including Fortinet products, to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist with IT-related inquiries.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- 3 Years or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls.
- Proficiency in Windows 11 and Windows Server 2012-2022 administration.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or Fortinet NSE.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience in Security & Compliance Center, Intune, Entra ID, Azure SSO.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Understanding of Patch Management Software (e.g., ConnectWise, CrowdStrike, Action1).
