Administrative Assistant
Our group is seeking a hard working self-motivated individual that has prior administrative experience and is ready to contribute to the analytical world of environmental quality.
This position schedules, reports on, and supports high quality work done by Curro Environmental field technicians. Administrative support for this position requires a high level of accuracy and is an essential part of the exceptional services we deliver at Curro Environmental. Focus will be on accurate record keeping for collected samples used to determine TCEQ drinking water compliance.
Responsibilities:
Digital and Hardcopy Filing of Field Documents and Purchase Receipts
Route appointment scheduling
Data Entry
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Maintain filing system
Generate reports
Ensure operation of field equipment by reviewing QA/QC logs
Maintain sampling and office inventory by
-Checking stock to determine inventory level
-Anticipating needed supplies
-Placing and expediting supply orders
-Verifying receipt of supplies
Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, and scanning
Write and send emails on behalf of field staff
Take accurate meeting minutes
Reply to email, telephone, or face to face inquiries
Answer telephone calls
Photocopy and print out documents on behalf of other colleagues
Process inventory
Requirements:
Proven administrative assistant experience
Follow office processing procedures
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficient in MS Office
At least 2 years of experience in a related area
High school diploma or equivalent
