Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a new and used vehicle Sales and Leasing Consultant at Curry Auto Center. The Sales and Leasing Consultant will be responsible for connecting and working closely with customers during their consulting phase and purchasing process, while ensuring customer satisfaction through an exceptional experience.
Qualifications
- Sales consulting or similar consulting skills
- Customer satisfaction, customer service, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Previous experience in sales or customer service roles preferred
- Knowledge of vehicles and automotive industry trends preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
Duties and Responsibilities
- Guarantee satisfaction to customers, which is a fundamental for a successful business
- Listen to customers and ask questions to determine their vehicles needs
- Demonstrate vehicles, including the utilization of test drives
- Maintain an owner/customer follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
- Attend Sales Department meetings
- Maintain a prospect development system including maintaining and entering customer information into a dealer management system
- Stay trained and educated on the latest product knowledge, features, and accessories and how these bring benefit to the customer
- Establish personal sales goals consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals
- Introduce customers to other departments throughout their purchase process to establish connections the customer can rely on during their ownership cycle
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist management in maintaining the dealership's lot and its inventory

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent required. Additional education and training preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend sales, marketing, and product materials

Experience
- Sales Experience of 1 year(s) preferred
- Customer Service Experience of 1 year(s) preferred
Working Conditions
- Stand for long periods of time both inside and outside
- Walk to and from all points of the dealership property (lot, service, reconditioning, parts, collision, etc.)
- Extended hours may be required to accomplish the job
- Weekends required
Sales Department Schedule and Hours
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Closed Sunday
- Shift 1: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
- Shift 2: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
- Regular day off each week
