Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facility, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, fabrication, and facilities maintenance. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential property, including painting and minor renovations.
• Fabricate and repair equipment as needed to ensure optimal functionality.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and logic controllers.
• Conduct regular inspections of facility to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents, prioritizing urgent issues.

Skills

• Proficient in residential painting techniques with attention to detail.
• Strong ability to maintain and repair various systems within facility.
• Experience in fabricating components or structures as required for repairs.
• Knowledge of reading schematics for electrical systems and logic controllers.
• Background in facility maintenance with a focus on safety standards.
• Basic welding skills are a plus for fabrication tasks.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with team members and management.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
