THIS ROLE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. The Clerk will be responsible for accepting, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory, and maintaining organized stock areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse or inventory management, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders against received goods.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all received shipments.
- Organize and store products in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory control and stock management.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues with the purchasing or warehouse team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Packages and Mail – Recover all packages, sort, inspect, deliver, and archive all incoming purchases. Evaluate best practices and space for receiving of packages to storing/delivering where needed
- Vendors and Cargo Delivery – Coordinate with all vendors arriving with deliveries and direct them to the right person or place. Offload or load when needed with company equipment
- Shipping – Send materials and equipment in a timely manner to different locations where assets/projects are located. Track and monitor shipment progress/delivery. Domestic and internationally
- Clerical – Work with accounting to ensure all purchases are accounted for, reconciled and shipping data is recorded as needed
WHO YOU ARE
Certifications and Requirements
- Experience in shipping (domestic & internationally)
- Forklift Certification required
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card (company reimburses once hired)

Physical Aptitudes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without restriction.
- Ability to climb onboard vessels from docks and piers using ladders and gangways

- Ability to sit at a desk for periods of time
- Must be able to pass a drug test (will be enrolled in Company’s random drug testing program)
