Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks including, reconciling statements, general ledger reconciliation and analysis, entering and posting of journal entries, preparing work orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

- General Ledger Maintenance:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Internal Controls:
- Ensure proper internal controls are followed and recommend improvements.
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file various tax returns and reports.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Sufficient experience in the field is accepted in lieu of education requirement
- CPA or working towards CPA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with ViewPoint is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
