A leading perishable retail products brokerage is seeking a strategic and results-driven EVP & COO to drive business growth, operational excellence, and high-impact client partnerships. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic, market-leading organization in the highly competitive Metro New York grocery market.

Representing leading brands, this company plays a critical role in driving sales and merchandising strategies for top performing food brands and grocery retailers. As a key executive reporting to the CEO, you will oversee financial performance, operational strategy, and executive-level customer relationships, ensuring continued market leadership and business expansion.

Drive Strategy & Growth :

  • Partner with the CEO to execute the company's vision and drive EBITDA growth.
  • Oversee financial performance and operational efficiency, setting key metrics to optimize profitability.
  • Strengthen executive-level customer and client relationships, serving as a highly visible industry leader.
  • Expand the company's brand portfolio while delivering best-in-class service.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts, preparing business updates for executive and board meetings.
  • Develop and mentor senior leadership, ensuring the company is structured for long-term success.
  • Drive a high-performance, collaborative culture that fosters engagement and accountability.

    • Expertise You Bring :

  • 10 years of leadership experience in CPG food sales, grocery retail, brokerage, or wholesaling.
  • Proven P&L ownership with a track record of driving business growth and operational success.
  • Expertise in syndicated sales data platforms (Circana, Nielsen) and customer / shopper marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • Strong collaborator and communicator, with a leadership style that builds trust and drives alignment.
  • Ability to be present in the Totowa, NJ office three days a week and engaged in the Metro NY grocery market.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business growth and long-term success.
