Your Challenge
- Manage sales directly to end-users of the organization’s products or services in a large specified geographic area or is responsible for a specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis.
- Develop new accounts and maintains current accounts. May establish long-term relationship with accounts/clients
- Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings for target accounts.
- Manage accounts from discovery through generation of sales revenue and monitors strategic long-term customer relationships.
- Participates in sales presentations for accounts.
- Coordinates with other departments as necessary to obtain product information. Participates in planning and policy development issues.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and promote sales.
- Coordinates liaison between accounts department and other sales related units. Ensures the effective use of the sales accountability program throughout the territory.
- Defines, documents, implements, and supports continual sales process improvement.
- Maintains appropriate records and documentation, tracks, monitors, and reports sales data.
