What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Drill Operator position at Cust-O-Fab, LLC?
Cust-O-Fab, a leader in the design and manufacturing of shell and tube heat exchangers, vessels, towers, and other heat transfer components, in the petrochemical industry for 50 years is currently seeking a CNC Drill Operators on the weekend night shift in our Sand Springs location.
Position Summary:
The CNC Drill Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC drills and machines:
- Read prints for required specifications and dimensions
- Measure parts using different measuring tools (tape measure, dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers)
- Remove slag using grinders
- Operate overhead cranes on daily basis to load machines with parts
- Cut supports to lengths needed using a hot saw
- Occasionally operate forklifts
The best candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years CNC Drill experience required
- 1 year of Manufacturing experience required
- Problem solving capabilities
- Ability to learn and follow all safety rules
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work overtime
