Job Summary
As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will lead a team of manufacturing professionals in constructing boxed headers and assembling bundles for air-cooled heat exchangers. Key responsibilities include creating and managing production schedules, visiting sub-contract suppliers, and verifying facility and equipment adequacy.
Responsibilities:
- Create production schedules for both shops
- Ensure quality, cost, and timeliness align with supplier expectations
- Verify facility, equipment, and supplies are adequate to support operation
- Directly lead supervision and department shop personnel
- Manage staffing levels to maintain efficient workforce
- Maintain communication with Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management
Requirements:
- Technical degree or 10 year relevant industry experience
- 5-7 years' experience directly supervising welding of boxed headers
- 2-5 years' experience operating MIG, TIG, and/or SAW welding equipment
- Understanding of costing elements in labor and material for building headers and bundles
- Knowledge of ASME VIII section 1 for boxed headers and hydrotest requirements
