Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Loader will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately loaded and unloaded, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution center operations. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload products from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking and securing of loads on pallets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily loading and unloading targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and best practices.
- Strong materials handling skills, including the safe use of pallet jacks and cranes.
- Knowledge of distribution center operations and warehouse protocols.
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments.
- Excellent teamwork abilities and effective communication skills.
