HVAC Service Tech-Residential- $27-$40/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for Service Techs with a minimum of 3 years experience; 5 preferred, to join our team. The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems in a residential setting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years experience in HVAC service required; 5 years preferred
- Universal EPA Certification required
- Motivated self-starter
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Clean background check
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete maintenance calls on various type of HVAC equipment.
- Read electrical and refrigerant schematics to assist with the diagnosis of issues.
- Replace various parts on a system to get the unit running for the customer.
- Performs special or complicated service activities with minimal assistance.
- Communicate issues with the customer and provide solutions to customer including pricing.
- Communicate with the office staff the correct timeframes needed to complete repairs.
- Maintain sufficient tools to complete various repairs.
- Be a team player and take the initiative to help out other Service Technicians.
- Full time employee, will be scheduled 40 hours per week. Overtime required based on business needs.
- Adheres to all safety policies.
- Attends training opportunities to keep up with industry changes
- Take responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
