Overview
The Sales and Operations Program Manager is responsible for the management of the CCS Customer Service Team and related Sales activities while coordinating associated Operations activities across customer order books to maximize efficiency in Production planning.
Duties and Responsibilities
- With the involvement of Global Sales Managers, oversee and manage the CCS Customer Service Team to ensure sound proposal and quotation preparation including pricing establishment and lead times considering operational efficiency and overall impact.
- Serve as main point of contact for Operations into the CCS Sales team.
- Participate in weekly key customer order book meetings, review current Production and lines of balance, and provide operational communications to key customers, as required.
- Coordinate and expedite factory resources as necessary to meet key customer requirements.
- Drive early involvement in new program development and oversee successful program transition into Production.
- Manage customer portals to ensure efficient and effective engagement and utilization cross-functionally.
- Review customer score card metrics and respond / negotiate if discrepancies are found.
- Coordinate and provide annual Sales Plan/Forecast to support business growth, operating budget, and strategic planning objectives.
- Coordinate and complete multi-departmental completion of key customer surveys.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of CCS price lists.
- Maintain and continuously improve Sales work instructions and procedures.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking coupled with ROI / business case development.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining the integrity of the position and perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
- The position is based in Phoenix and requires moderate travel (<20%) and direct customer interface.
Required Qualifications:
- Applicant must be ITAR compliant.
- 5 years Program Management experience with in at least one of the following: manufacturing, operations, supply chain, planning, program management, process engineering.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience with DoD & Aerospace Industries.
- Experience leading teams and succeeding in a matrixed environment.
- Proficient in earned value management.
- Detail oriented approach to assessing program health, risks, & opportunities.
- Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities and experience.
- Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times.
- Experience communicating complex concepts or ideas in a clear and concise manner to various levels of internal & external stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate multiple programs and changing priorities simultaneously.
- Results and action-oriented ownership of cross-functional team performance meeting customer and internal program requirements and deadlines.
