Job Description
Painter needed responsibilities include painting steel components used in the construction of our products. Applicants must have painting experience.
- Sets-up and operates paint equipment.
- Mixes paint according to specifications to regulate customer-specified color, consistency and quality.
- Inspects mill thickness on parts.
- Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush.
- Maintains paint equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly.
- Removes grease, dirt, paint or rust from surface in preparation for paint application, using solvents or washing tanks.
- Inspects painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas to ensure that painted areas match quality specifications.
- Performs all quality control tests, as required.
