Busy housing provider works with prospective homeowners to obtain building. We need someone with hands-on permit experience in Western Washington Counties and Cities such as Snohomish County, King County, Island County, Whatcom County, City of Bothell, City of Lynnwood, City of Bellevue etc.
Please apply if you have can work with customer requirements to draw a site plan using manual or software tools, understand local development requirements (setbacks, utilities etc) and submit applications to successfully obtain building permits. DutiesMust demonstrate direct working experience working on site and building permits that includes : showing knowledge of development standards and building codes, drawing site plans, submitting online or in person and working on corrections as needed.Construction experience, land development experience, Building Contractor experience is requiredShow a track record of having worked with multiple building jurisdictions in WA State related to permit issuance, communication and negotiation skills to unstick permit processes and work with customers and contractors to resolve issues such as boundary lines, wetlands etc.We offer : really great money with salary and attractive bonus and steady clients for which you will be paid a base generous commission for successful permits applied and issued.Work with and manage inspections by County and City inspectors until final occupancy.Ability to coordinate onsite work with multiple sub vendors and manage simple billing and payment processes.Required :
Demonstrated ability to apply for and get permits issued in Washington (OR or CA also Ok)Proficiency in sketching site plans (manual or using software) as required for permit applications site plansAbility to understand building and site requirements including local building codesExperience working on construction sites (hands on or supervisory)Knowledge of construction managementNice-to-have :
Familiarity with construction software and site drawing software (AutoCAD or similar) but AutoCAD isnot requiredPrevious experience in land development or hands on constructionExcellent Medical and Dental benefits - after waiting period (details during job interview)
