We are a fast growing residential Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC company looking for a qualified, full-time, Permit Specialist to aid in the success of our company's growth. This position is full time position. (Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM)
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Continuous communication with controlling jurisdictions, clients, engineers, and project managers
- Responsible for pulling permits expeditiously, maintains all records and ensures all permits remain active throughout the duration of a project
- Research city / county requirements for permitting process on specific project locations
- Prepares, tracks, and reviews for completeness, accuracy, status, or eligibility a variety of documents and records such applications; and determines adequacy of documentation for local jurisdictions
- Maintain Permitting Excel Spreadsheet, Process Sales, Permits and Inspections daily
- Follow-up with city / county contacts to expedite permit issuance
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers and inspectors about any / all issues that arise
- Communicate corrections to the correct department / technician, track tasks for return trips
- Perform other duties as assigned
