We are currently hiring personnel for our Distribution Center located in Leland Industrial Park off of HWY 74 and for our Outlet Warehouse located in front of the Waterford neighborhood in Leland on HWY 17. Custom Home Furnishings LLC is the premier upscale furniture retailer in Southeast North Carolina. As our operations continue to expand, so does the need to increase our warehousing teams and create new staffing roles. Day to day duties can include and are not limited too:

• Delivering and installing merchandise into customers homes.
• Receiving and unloading freight from tractor trailers.
• Safely putting away and storing items in our rack system.
• Operate picker between racking system to retrieve or storing inventory.
• Scanning inventory and tagging merchandise.
• Transferring inventory between stores.
• Opening and inspecting orders prior to delivery, customer pick ups, or transfers to other locations.
• Loading our delivery trucks as we prepare them for our white glove delivery teams.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work space!

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 150 lbs. Most items are easily managed by two people but we do have items that are extremely heavy.
• Having exceptional organization and communication skills.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to crouch, kneel, and walk backwards regularly.
• A driver's license and clean driving record is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
