Responsibilities include:
- Proofreading and editing medical/scientific-related scripts, storyboards, print layouts, and multimedia presentations to ensure their correctness, clarity, and quality
- Apply style and preferences specific to each client or project and avoid inappropriate cross-pollination of styles
- Review documents for adherence to formatting and style and maintain consistency across multiple deliverables
- Perform quality check of eLearning, mobile applications, workshops, and print modules
- Prepare bibliographies and QC references to ensure accuracy and preferred client reference citation style
- Maintain internal database for all journal and textbook references in EndNote
- Create and update client specific wordlist/style guidelines
- Upload documents to clients’ electronic referencing systems
- BA/BS in English or related subject matter; or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience as an editor
- Advanced knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules; expertise in AMA Manual of Style, 11th edition is preferred
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to high quality
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint (PC)
- Experience using databases a plus
