We are a small business contract packaging company looking for a motivated Shipping Manager.

This is a hand on and leadership role.
Move items to and from 3 warehouses. Placing pallets in and out of a racking system.
Schedule and manage trucks inbound and outbound shipments.
Ability to communicate with the teams across the organization (Production, Customer Service, Accounting, Management)
Proficient computer knowledge for bill of lading, Receiving, Portals, Perform cycle counts.
Plan and manage warehouse resources (staff, space, equipment) to run operations cost efficiently.
Build a data driven team. Focus on achieving operational KPIs.
Develop and analyze key metrics for the distribution of inbound and outbound materials.
Ensure and establish goals to be met for quality, safety, customer service, and Customer satisfaction.
Ensure and maintain safety, quality, accuracy and inventory procedures are followed consistently.
Work with Operations Manager to manage raw and finished goods inventory turns.
Working with the Production Manager on Quality, and Operations to develop and implement best practices related to order flow management and lean operations and principles
Accurately staging and loading shipments
Experience in selecting and managing and contacting freight carriers’ performance.
Manage and maintaining inventory levels of raw and finished goods to optimize flow of goods into and out of warehouse using a FIFO process.
Accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts for Custom Pak and customers
Manage and material and stock levels of raw materials, finished goods, warehouse supplies.
Properly verifies inbound and outbound orders with accurate weights and counts.
Product Prep and prepare loads (pick, check, inspect label stage and store) and unload all shipments for accuracy and proper tracking.
Retrieve and stage raw and finished product on the production floor.
Candidate must be able to lift 35 lbs.
This position may require working overtime on a needed basis.
Oversee all operations for shipping and warehouses, inventory, fulfillment, order generation, production packaging, shipping, receiving.
Essure all safety and OSHA requirements.
Keep warehouse and office clean and organized.
5 years of forklift loading and unloading of trucks.
5 years supervisory experience
5 years Shipping Manager experience
5 years Warehouse experience

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
