Job Details:
Metal Fabricators are responsible for safely utilizing equipment and following shop order instructions, blue prints, work procedures, and routings in a manner that balances quality and productivity while meeting customer delivery dates and expectations -- always while operating safely.
They inspect machines and equipment to ensure operational performance and optimum utilization and perform first-part-inspection to ensure part conformity, exactness, neatness and conformance to customer requirements. Employees at Custom Products will be cross trained to operate much of the equipment and processes within the company, and have a significant part in the creation of the product going to its customers.
Essential Functions:
- Ideal candidate has experience operating a Brake Press or Tube Bending Equipment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to read a tape measure, a protractor, and thickness guides
- Must be able to read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, engineering drawings and shop routings.
- Promptness, good attendance, and punctuality.
- Attention to detail
At Custom Products, You'll operate all the machines in the Fab area. Little experience? Great! We'll train you!! Experience? Great, we'll pay you!!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
