Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Fab Shop / Machine Operator to join our production team. This role requires a high mechanical aptitude and involves operating and maintaining advanced fabrication equipment, including press brakes, turret punches, and CNC machines . The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up fabrication equipment such as press brakes, turret punches, and CNC machines to produce parts and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure product accuracy and specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished parts and products to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations and protocols .
- Record and document production data, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
