Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements
- Leadership Experience in a high production manufacturing facility.
- Extensive knowledge in manufacturing philosophies and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, but not required, equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strength in the following areas required:
- Quality Management System Experience
- Strong Customer Interface skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and building rapport
- Self-Starter who takes initiative and requires minimal supervision
- Leadership experience, including the ability to effectively guide and direct a small team of approximately 5 employees across various work shifts.
- Microsoft Office experience (word, outlook, excel)
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Possesses a strong data-driven mindset with exceptional analytical skills to interpret complex information, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present information effectively. This role involves direct communication with plant teams to convey and discuss quality concerns.
- Must be skilled in the application of advanced quality planning tools to ensure product and process quality. Additionally, strong problem-solving capabilities are essential for analyzing quality data, identifying issues, and developing sustainable corrective actions.
Experience in the following areas is preferred:
- ERP/MRP Experience
- Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Developing/documenting procedures.
- Use of Quality Engineering methods in inspections
- Plastics experience
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- The noise level in our work environment is moderate.
- Safety glasses, hearing protection and closed-toe shoes must be worn on the production floor.
- Some travel, mostly local, is occasionally required.
