Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with our company. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Duties

  • Manage internal and external phone calls and emails.
  • Assist customers with product issues, questions, and general inquiries.
  • Creating and setting up return and replacement orders.
  • Investigate reoccurring issues and bring them up through the proper channels.
  • Enter in sales orders when necessary.
  • File freight claims when product arrives damaged.
  • Establish trusted relationships with customers to ensure a quality customer experience.
  • Willingness to be cross trained in other areas within sales, purchasing, and accounting.
  • Ability to apply understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to stay calm and de-escalate difficult situations.
  • Strong collaboration skills, particularly in a sales environment.
  • Proficient in phone etiquette to maintain professionalism during calls.
  • Experience in client services or customer support roles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Competence in using office software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
