Job Summary
At Custom Wire Technologies, we are seeking skilled professionals to join our production team as Assembly and Quality Control Technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track the progress of multiple jobs through their manufacturing process.
- Review and understand work orders, job routing information, and process instructions.
- Operate machines, making necessary minor adjustments, and report major machine problems.
- Setup, run, and inspect assemblies, including final packaging and ready-for-ship processes.
- Conduct secondary operations, such as assembly, packaging, trimming, cutting, and/or grinding, as needed.
- Examine and test products for quality, recording part counts and product dimensions.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify potential issues.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of company mission and production processes.
- Able to secure knowledge and proper use of tools and equipment.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to 4 hours and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Strong detail orientation and good eyesight to see and work with small components.
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift Full Time: Monday through Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm. Occasional overtime may be required.
