This individual will assume full responsibility for the strategic direction of the company’s Warehousing and Transportation Operations.
Summary/Objective: The Regional Senior Director of Warehouse Operations will be responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial performance of multiple warehouse sites within a designated region. This leadership role focuses on creating and executing budgets and forecasts, ensuring the operational execution aligns with financial targets, and driving the delivery of customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in 3PL operations, new business proforma creation, and a strong commitment to safety and leadership development. This position requires a dynamic leader capable of coordinating complex operations across multiple facilities, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Work Environment: This position requires frequent travel within the region to visit multiple warehouse sites. A blend of in-office and remote work may be available, depending on operational needs.

Essential Functions:
- Budget and Forecast Management:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with overall company financial goals.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, adjusting operational plans to meet budgetary targets and optimize profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce operational expenses.
- Operational Execution and Performance Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple warehouse sites, ensuring compliance with established processes and the achievement of KPIs and SLAs.
- Ensure operational goals are met consistently in terms of efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior leaders and warehouse management teams across multiple sites.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and safety within all warehouse operations.
- Execute leadership training programs aimed at succession planning and building high-performing teams.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Champion a safety-first culture across all warehouse locations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Regularly assess safety programs and operational procedures, making recommendations to enhance safety performance and minimize risks.
- Drive employee engagement around safety, ensuring all team members are equipped with the necessary training and resources.
- Customer SLA and KPI Management:
- Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure customer SLAs are consistently met or exceeded.
- Lead the effort to define, track, and report on KPIs related to warehouse performance, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Address customer concerns or service failures, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- New Business Proforma Creation:
- Collaborate with the Business Development, Solutioning, and Pricing teams to create detailed and accurate new business proformas.
- Assess new business opportunities, provide input on logistics requirements, and ensure alignment between business forecasts and warehouse capacity.
- Provide operational insights to support the bidding process and ensure new business contracts are operationally feasible and profitable.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as HR, IT, Solutioning, Safety & Loss Prevention, Legal, and Finance to ensure smooth operations and alignment with organizational objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Logistics or Transportation or 10 years equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of senior leadership experience in warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-site management role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale warehouse operations, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Strong expertise in managing and executing operational performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Extensive background in 3PL operations, including experience with large-scale, multi-site environments.
- Computer literacy with MS Office Suite essential; prior experience with Manhattan SCALE would be highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including experience in leadership development, team building, and succession planning.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement and enforce a safety-first culture.
- Demonstrated experience in creating new business proformas and managing new client onboarding.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Salary : $175,000 - $185,000
