Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Front Office Coordinator.
This role requires a schedule availability of Mondays through Thursdays, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy offers ST, OT, PT, ABA, and counseling for patients, ages birth-30, in a highly collaborative and fun, sensory-focused setting. Therapists can easily incorporate movement and sensory activities into treatment sessions, using our engaging therapy gyms, sensory light room, and on our playground. Teenagers and young adults at our facility have the unique opportunity to work on daily living activities and vocational activities in our on-site apartment, mock grocery store, and our on-site coffee shop. Key Responsibilities
- Insurance verification.
- Collecting and posting payments.
- Collecting past due balances as instructed by management and/or billing team.
- Maintaining an organized and tidy workspace.
- Answering a high volume of phone calls with the highest level of professionalism.
- Scheduling evaluations and appointments.
- Assisting families through the new intake process.
- Maximizing therapists’ schedules.
- Communicating effectively with patients regarding insurance, treatment needs, and clinic information.
- Maintaining treatment and waiting areas.
- Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and varying volumes of work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Possess a team-player mentality.
- Enforce clinic policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to handle complaints or unpleasant situations with tact and professionalism.
- Possess a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming demeanor.
- Display excellent customer service.
Qualification and Skill Requirements
- Requires at least one year of experience in a medical office setting.
- High school diploma required.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- One year of insurance verification and benefit explanation preferred.
- Experience with, and proficiency in, electronic medical records.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the front office area and the clinic for extended periods of time in order to greet visitors, assist employees, and manage tasks.
- Ability to work at a computer desk station for extended periods of time.
- May be required to lift up to a minimum of 25 pounds.
