Role Overview
The Production Lead assists the Manufacturing Leader in managing production lines during the 2nd shift, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to standards. Bilingual candidates (English & Spanish) are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
2nd Shift: Approximately 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.
Experience & Education
The Production Lead assists the Manufacturing Leader in managing production lines during the 2nd shift, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to standards. Bilingual candidates (English & Spanish) are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cereal and snack mix lines to achieve productivity and quality targets.
- Coordinate production and delegate tasks to team members.
- Audit QA documentation for accuracy.
- Monitor and document equipment downtime; work with operators and maintenance for solutions.
- Enforce GMPs and handle violations.
- Facilitate shift communication and report issues related to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Complete necessary documentation and support performance reporting.
- Aid in continuous improvement initiatives with the Manufacturing Leader.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous food production experience was preferred.
- Effective communicator with team and management.
- Experience with Google Drive and spreadsheets preferred.
- Ability to work independently and attentively.
- Valid driver’s licence required.
- Basic maths and English comprehension required.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and goal-focused.

Experience & Education
- 2 to 5 years of experience.
- Associate-level position; no management experience required.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- No travel required.
