Switchboard/Receptionist - Communications

This position is an internal posting for current CRMC employees to apply beginning at 8:00 am on 2/12 until 4:00 pm on 2/18

• Every Friday 7-3 and every other weekend 7-1.
• POSITION SUMMARY
  • Switchboard Operators and Receptionists will provide needed information to customers needing assistance. They will perform secretarial and miscellaneous duties. High quality customer service and overall efficiency will result in customer satisfaction and will help Cuyuna Regional Medical Center achieve its goals.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED. Ability to operate all equipment required for this position. Previous secretarial experience preferred. Successful completion of data entry and general clerical standards.
  • License/Certificates:
    • N/A

    • Ability to work independently.
    • Effective interpersonal relationship skills including good listening and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and appropriately.
    • Ability to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation.
    • Adjusts to stressful situations with confidence and good judgment.
• ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Processes telephone calls and pages efficiently, accurately, politely and calmly.
  • Promotes positive Medical Center image to all customers (includes patients/residents, physicians, visitors and coworkers).
  • Release information as permitted by Medical Center policy.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness in emergency situations.
  • Will perform secretarial and miscellaneous duties, including collecting and distributing mail.
  • Demonstrate Standards of Excellence when other duties are assigned.
